All of the young in the country should have access to high-quality and purposeful education in the areas of business, home economics, the visual arts, and general art, and this should be accomplished through instructional and learning methods that are successful and an administrative structure that is efficient.

BRIEF HISTORY OF INSTITUTION:
After first opening its doors in February 1999 as a Community Day School, Efutu Senior High Technical School was eventually incorporated into the Public Educational System by the Government of Ghana in September 2001 through the Ghana Education Service. Originally, the school had been formed as a Community Day School. According to the available records, this school is the result of the tireless efforts of the chief of Efutu, Nana Afari Twarko VI, the Queen Mother Nana Amba Eye I, and the then hardworking Assemblyman Mr. Freeman Abaidoo, who collaborated with World Vision International, the providers of the initial infrastructure for Efutu Senior High Technical. World Vision International was the provider of the initial infrastructure for Efutu Senior High Technical.

 MAJOR ACHIEVEMENT OVER THE YEAR
WASSCE 2009
The school presented 455 candidates out of which 318 (69.9%) passed as against 59.9% scored in 2008, an increase pass rate of 10%. The school’s best grade percentage was 37.3%. This means that a number of our students qualify to pursue higher education in the Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education etc.
