MISSION
The school is tasked with the job of fostering, maintaining, and implementing effective educational practices that are in accordance with the educational policies of Ghana. This includes offering pertinent education at the level of the second cycle, in an atmosphere that is conducive to the spiritual and moral development of each child.
HISTORY
In recognition of the contributions made by the Denkyira State, the Late Dr. Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, President of the First Republic of Ghana, founded the Boa Amponsem Senior High School in September 1961. Previously, the school had been known by its previous name, Dunkwa Secondary School. After one of the most notable and well-known Paramount Chiefs in Denkyira, namely Odeefo Boa Amponsem III, the school was renamed Boa Amponsem Secondary School in September 1976. This was done in his honor.
