VISION
Our goal is to have the school at the same level as the endowed Senior High Schools in Cape Coast by the year 2015, and to have the school relocated to a place that is more favourable for intentional academic pursuit. We hope to accomplish these goals by moving the school to a location that is more conducive to learning.

MISSION
to unearth the hidden abilities that lie dormant within each and every one of Academy Christ the King’s students for the ultimate benefit not only of those students but also of the Church and State.

BRIEF HISTORY
ACADEMY OF CHRIST THE KING was founded on October 15, 1976, and Right Reverend I.S.M. Lemaire, who served as Archbishop of West Africa at the time, presided over the opening ceremony. At that time, there were a total of sixty pupils across all boundaries, with eight of them being female students. The Reverend R.G.A. Okine, who served at the time as the Parish Priest of Christ the King Parish, was the school’s Founding Principal. The late Vice Principal, Mr. Harvey–Ewusie, also served in the role of Accountant.
The School can be found on Kawonopadoo Street in Cape Coast, and it became a part of the Public System of Senior Secondary Schools in January of 1998. The School has both Day and Hostel Facilities available for its students.
These are the kind of programs that are available to students at this school: general arts, business, visual arts, and home economics.
